On arrival the lake on the 10th hole at Pyrford had a 70% coverage of algae. On further inspection we noted all the other water courses had a high algae coverage as they are all interlinked. After discussing the problem with Pyrford Senior Golf Course Superintendent Mr Hugh Knowles, we treated all 23 acres of water - which remains algae free and gin clear. Over the years we have built up a good working relationship with Hugh and his team who keep a watchful eye on their wonderful water and lakeside asset. |
